My daughter is so in love with the American Girl series and when I researched the cost of the dolls I had a major case of sticker shock! I was excited that I found what I thought would be a good compromise. Boy was I disappointed when the doll barely fit in the palm of my hand. I wish I had spent the money on a few of their books instead. Maybe someday we will spring for the "real" thing.
