Some books touch the heart; others the mind, but what a treat to read one that does both. SAVE THE DATE is a must. You will enjoy, and laugh and cry and think when you read. One comes away really believing, due to its emotional sincerity and intellectual depth, that its content will make a difference in your life. The book's most remarkable quality derives from every chapter's ability to integrate what our culture fragments in contexts that are fun and illuminating. The book is engaging and anything but dry. Dating, love, sex, relationships etc. are words we use or misuse with alarming frequency. Years ago, I was in a bookstore looking for something for my teenage daughter that defined a spiritual context for dating without either preaching didactically, or demeaning the physical as degrading to moral health. The clerk looked puzzled and finally said they had no such book, and a fellow customer joined with me in wishing they did. Now we do. The treat is that you will want to read and share the wisdom of SAVE THE DATE over and over. ENJOY!!!
