I am not a big fan of poetry, but this book is soooo beautiful. Really accessible poems about life and they are HAPPY-- not the usual snobby, impossible-to-decipher MFA stuff-- just really beautiful, lyrical and life-affirming poems. The author is a Long Beach guy-- super gorgeous and talented. Definitely worth buying!! I LOVE these poems.
