Book Review: A resource that continues to be helpful.

I saw the author on Dr. Oz tv show and was very impressed. Ordered two of his books so far. This one is easy to read and understand. I started taking astragalus ten years ago when my cancer was diagnosed. A few months ago, I saw Dr. Andrew Weil tout it on t.v., though he recommends two a day. I uppsed my dose as I feel it helps the immune system significantly. The reason I mention this one herb supplement is this: my own GI M.D. was glancing at my Medication List which I take with me to all doctors. He asked, "What's astragalus?" Most M.D.'s have no idea about this branch of medicine, they do not learn it in medical school. I know this because I was married to a physician for 25 years. Along with traditional Western medicine, I will continue to use supplements/herbs/etc. in my life and this book will continue to be by my bedside.
