Book Reviews of SeinlanguageBook Review: Examples of what you might find in here Summary: 4 Stars
"SeinLanguage" is simply a collection of witty observations made by the comedic genius, Jerry Seinfeld. If you've seen his sitcom, you know that he makes a lot of jokes on the some of simplest and most overlooked things in life, from forgetting your new fling's name to outsmarting telemarketers. And this book deals with similar, random issues. Each "joke" is a few sentences long, and it sounds like something you would hear Jerry say if you were watching him do stand-up comedy.
If you're a big fan of Jerry and/or the show, this book is a must-have. If you're not familiar with Seinfeld and his type of humor, it might be a good introduction to his type of work. A couple of the jokes aren't really that hilarious, but most others are funny and will make you think. I'll give you two examples of random observations he makes. One is about eating a small item on a big plate, and having to waste your time washing the whole plate, even though most of it is clean. Another observation he makes is the word "Ambulance" written on ambulance vehicles backwards, which can cause someone to look back at the ambulance, cause a car accident, and thereby require the need of an ambulance.
Book Review: Fantastic sense of humor of Jerry Seinfeld Summary: 5 Stars
The ideas written by Jerry Seinfeld are the same that those he developed in his famous series. But I enjoy very much to have all those ideas together and I think that fans of Jerry will also enjoy very much his "Seinlanguage".
Book Review: Funny although stale and/or old at times. Summary: 4 Stars
SeinLanguage met my expectations for being a funny book. At times, the jokes are quite funny that I had to pause before I can gather my thoughts again. However, some of the jokes are stale while there are jokes that are already familiar because it was used in the beginning of the TV show Seinfeld where Jerry Seinfeld would do a routine stand-up comedy. At least they bring good memories for me because I am constantly reading the joke and remembering how he did it in live. There are a few jokes in the book that were written, but honestly, the punchline would have been easily delivered if done orally. One good example is the Chalk-Outline joke where Jerry would do this imitation of the dead guy. That was a really good one. Of any, although there are jokes as equally as good, my favorite of his is one with the Ginsu Knife. Now, let me tell you, I did see the commercial when it first aired, and when I saw the knife cutting the shoe into half, it was the most absurd, bizarre moment I've experienced while watching a commercial like that. I thought that it was a stroke of genius right there. Somebody actually thought of the idea about using the knife to cut the shoe into half, somebody else actually allowed it to be filmed, and somebody else actually did let it be part of the final copy of the commercial. And it got aired for the purpose of selling the knife! Anyway, I am glad that Jerry Seinfeld pointed this out and used it for a joke because I thought that I was the only one who felt this way. All in all, SeinLanguage is a funny book that can be enjoyed, but personally, I prefer the shows more because they have the Kramer effect.

Book Review: Not too bad! Summary: 3 Stars
I absolutely love the 'Seinfeld' series, and when I found this book at a local thrift store for under $5, I totally had to snag it! The book is quite funny, but after seeing practically every episode of 'Seinfeld' at least two or three times, many of the jokes in the book that relate to this, seemed a little redundant. Of course though, bear in mind that this book was probably published at least 15 years ago, and of course too, the 'Seinfeld' series ended almost 12 years ago, so that makes sense to see a lot of the jokes and what not used in the series. Great book, and truly an interesting, comedic read! I saw Jerry back in Denver a few years ago, and it was truly awesome! Buy this book if you want to laugh and learn!
