Book Review: Is that all?

I love Seinfeld's sense of humor. I loved the TV show. I own all the available DVD's. I'm eager to see him on stage.
As for this book, if you've seen the show, you will have heard the jokes. I was hoping that the book would have talked about more about his life. I would have liked to read about his relationship with Mike Costanza, the guy who was to a degree the inspiration for the antics of "George Costanza". It would have been nice for Jerry to acknowledge the extent to which Mike Costanza helped Jerry become a success. A good book to read that covers that subject is, "The Real Seinfeld: As Told by the Real Costanza" by Mike Costanza and Greg Lawrence. I strongly recommend that book if you want to read about Jerry's rise to fame and glory.
Sadly, this book doesn't do more than tell us jokes we've already heard.

Jerry Seinfeld is a stand-up comedian.And his ever famous Sitcom-'Seinfeld' is worth a million laughs,with George Costanza,Elaine Marie Benes and Cosmo Kramer. But his shows are to be "watched" and not read.
This book is a collation/collection of most of his classic one-liners - but all you're left with imagining the real episode on dvd,when you read though any of it from the book.
I've even watched that DVD-Jerry seinfeld: Live on Broadway? Well,Jerry Seinfeld must be one of the masterminds of the show and the script, but he can't pull it off without the remaining 3some.

Seinlanguage is a perfect companion to the best sitcom of the 90s, and a must read for any true fan. Jerry's comedy may not seem perfectly suited for a book, but you'd be surprised how easily you can hear Jerry on every single page. A "celebrity book" at it's best.
