Book Review: A valuable effort
Summary: 3 Stars
An actor is able to express, with movement, snowflakes falling within the chill of winter and to an audience who will empathise despite the performance taking place in the middle of summer! I am reading Hahn's book in an attempt to appreciate more fully the "Gei" or art of traditional Japanese performance. Though not particularly succinct in her manner of writing, her book is proving to be informative: a valuable effort on her part.
