Book Review: TASTY, SCRUMPTIOUS EROTICA STORIES

Rachel Kramer Bussel has gathered another delicious collection of stories in SEX & CANDY. The theme of this anthology is especially enticing, as many people, myself included, link food and sex in myriad ways among them physically, emotionally and spiritually. You might expect SEX & CANDY to be a "one trick pony" but Bussel has gathered an amazing array of stories that explore the food/sex link in satisfying and unexpected ways as well as more traditional tales (if you can call them that) that include such things as eating fruit tucked between a woman's breasts and using candy canes in creative ways.
Some of my favorite stories were:
The opening story, "Six Layers of Sweetness" by Donna George Storey is a luscious tale that blends food and sex into a tangibly arousing confection.
"Cinammon Secrets" by Radclyffe is as raw as fudge shaved off a chunk of chocolate and as delicious as those shavings melting in your mouth and running down your chin.
Tenille Brown's "Cling" is a compelling story that anyone can relate to about how we find some people, and some food, absolutely irresistible no matter how hard we try to abstain from them.
"Kneading" by Shanna Germain showcases the sensuality of food preparation. By the time her characters are done with each other, there is no clear line between their bodies and the flour and sugar they work with at their bakery.
I recommend SEX & CANDY to any fan of erotica who's ever seductively eaten a strawberry with their eyes locked on those of their lover's, or anyone new to the mixture of food and sex. It's a journey that leaves you full and satiated, yet ready for more!
