Neighbors and friends view Mystique and Donavan as an adorable couple, with two beautiful children, living in a nice suburban home. But behind closed doors, the "happy" couple is living a lie that could destroy their humble home.
Mystique loves her family and puts her pride aside to work in an abusive environment. Investment broker Donavan seems more dedicated to his job than his family, and starts to neglect them with his selfish ways. When Mystique becomes suspicious of Donavan's recent behavior, she entrusts her feelings to her best friend, Janet. Mystique doesn't realize Janet holds the secret to something glaring in Donavan's past that may speak to his character and could ruin their marriage. After Mystique's shocking discovery about Donavan, her whole life changes, and she realizes her marriage was built on a lie.
To avenge herself and her pride, Mystique joins forces with her sister and enters a dangerous underground world of lust and intrigue. With her newly found life in the fast lane, Mystique's judgment becomes clouded, and she must separate truth from fiction, fidelity from infidelity.
Andrea Blackstone tells a tale of truth through Mystique's life experiences. SEXXXFESSIONS is a painful story of how fragile love can be, and how quickly life as we know it can come to a screeching halt. The story of Mystique and Donavan is a lesson learned for couples, and reminds us of the importance of communication in relationships.
