Book Review: A Grave Ending

Sandford tells some of the Indian culture as it exists today in Minnesota, by involving members of the Indian Nation in a modern day war against the white man. I found myself at times wondering whose side I was on.
Lucas Davenport and the Minneanaplois P.D find themselves in the middle of this war. Sandford has developed rich characters on both sides of the story with some caught in the middle.
There wasn't the non-stop action in this as there was in "Rules Of Prey" but the ending was just as exciting. Sandford writes great closers and is great at writing the action scenes.
I think that the author did a great job in bringing Lucas' character out as being a Dad, boyfriend, and lover. In this one the latter two are with different women which creates a difficult balancing act for Lucas.
