Book Review: An Inspired Musical Journey!

I just finished reading this amazing book aloud to my eight year old daughter. Along the way I must say that I found myself moved beyond tears numerous times by the sheer beauty of Viva's transcendence through the power of, and her love for, music. This should be required reading everywhere... for everyone! My daughter sings with an all girls' choir and delighted in the nuanced portrayal of life within a close-knit musical sisterhood. I highly recommend this moving historical fiction masterpiece to all mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts - and for the men in their lives, too! Linda Ross Meyer - thank you for sharing your gift with the world.
