Book Review: An enjoyable read
Summary: 4 Stars
This book centers around two single parents, Linda Breland and Brad Jackson. Linda has decided to move back to her childhood home in South Carolina instead of enduring any more winters in New York plus the bad influence of some of her daughter's friends. She finds a job with Brad, a former investment banker, who has opened a local restaurant. One thing I found endearing about these characters is that they are not perfect people. Author Frank discusses their physical and character faults with the deft and loving hand of the talented writer that she is. Also, I found many incidents involving interactions between the characters and about family life that really rang true. This is my first book by Dorothea Benton Frank, but it won't be my last.
