Book Review: thinking about small firearms

_I like firearms. This is a thing much people in Spain sees as an occult vice, a fascist dash or something else. Spain has one of the most restrictive law about possession of firearms by particulars.
This doesn't happen in the USA, Shooter's Bible and another books as these, are exhaustive and very good, and I think inconceivable out of that country. Truly I believe laws about firearms, the most dangerous of all, handguns as they are carried easily, are too permissive there, but...
We see the police or special estatal anti disturb forces of advanced countries and they, in front of an unarmed citizen does manage more and more brutal weapons. It's told these are "dissuasive weapons" but they truly seems medieval warriors. They defend governmental reasons, but we know these not ever are just. History is plenty of that, and use of force is too much easy and tempting to governments to "solve" complex problems if they have the monopoly of it. From Czarists to Roman legions in Jesus times, passing from may 1968 or infinite situations.
And in some sense, writers as George Orwell warned about the monopoly by the estate of too much force. Perhaps in the USA there are more killing and wounded by bullets, but I ask myself if all police forces in Europe are ever well directed. At last, in life, all is a question to choose: Liberty?, Equality?, or continuous induced fear? (to diseases, delinquents...) Mass media papers and tv are excellent means to spread terrors: Destructive weapons in Iraq, nuclear plants in Iran, epidemics...
In France there was an error shooting with real bullets to civil people in a official demonstrative ceremony. This is only an example.
But this is the case the another people who in Europe possess firearms are delinquents. They are no doubt a part of the social establishment. We don't know until when one "right power ends and ... when begins the dark powers. Sometimes this isn't clear. As an extreme example, in modern war we know is unarmed, civil people the main number of killed and wounded.
So, some restrictions about firearms I think only respond to hypocrisy.
