Book Review: Bit of a letdown

The first two books of this series actually managed to rise above the erotic genre and produce an interesting (albeit admittedly very farfetched) story; I was eagre to see how the Bigger Picture's plans for world domination shaped up in the third installment. I was hoping for something set a few years down the line, with the plan in full swing. Alas, the third book just rehashes some of what has gone before. We find Shelly taken out of the SMC and sent off for "re-education" of a sort. while some political infighting at Bigger Picture goes on. Another guy is kidnapped and sissified, but really this just re-treads more of the same ground we have convered before. The book is as well written as the previous two, and once again the author does a good job with the kinkier side of eroticism - but for all that, I was more than a little disappointed. I'm hoping the author won't stop at a trilogy, because I'd love to see another in the series that will explore the future of the Bigger Picture more fully.
