Book Reviews of SirenaBook Review: Excellent Book Summary: 5 Stars
I just finished reading this book in two days, and just wanted to let people know it was a good read. I'm 25 years old, and it even entertained me! I think there are some themes (sexual) that are inappropriate for anyone under 16, unlike what the book claims, but other than that, it was enjoyable. I recommend this book!
Book Review: Excellent-The only book you need to read Summary: 5 Stars
Mermaids have always enticed me. Since I was little I had imagined what it would be like venturing into their world. The world of the mermaid. Well, its not so hard now! I found none of the parts disgusting as someone else did...it was a book intended for 13+ I believe, and isn't really appropriate for anyone younger, it has sexual lines...so I probably wouldn't get it for my 10, 11, or 12 year old. If you are looking for a true masterpiece, this is definately it.
Book Review: Fate and Fantasy Summary: 4 Stars
This was the first book I read from Napoli and it was excellent. Sirena is a sincere mermaid who longs for love and immortality, only to fall in love with a man who is condemned by Hera. This book is a great comination of fate and fantasy. I highly recommend this book to anyone. The only thing that held this book from getting five stars from me was that the ending was abrupt. I wanted to find out what would happen to....I shouldn't spoil the ending. I'll be waiting for the sequel! =)
Book Review: Fate and Fantasy Summary: 4 Stars
This book is amazingly catching and it kept me reading it until the end. Sirena is a wonderful character who longs for love and immortaity, only to fall in love with a man who is condemned by Hera. Napoli includes legendary myths of Greece to give depth and personality to the characters and presents Sirena as a live human being, who happens to be a mermaid. I anxiously await the sequel to find out what happens to...I won't spoil the ending.
Book Review: GREAT BOOK! From 13-y.o. reader Summary: 5 Stars
I recomend this book fully! I loved it! I have read it many, many times and it gets better every time! I've let alot of my friends borrow this book and they've all loved it, too. After I read this book, I thought about it for weeks afterward. A great book to go along w/ this 1 is "Inside the Walls of Troy" by Clemence McLaren. Both are great!!! READ THESE BOOKS!!!!
