This guy has an imagination like no other. Never know what will happen next. Wow
Book Review: What is beauty? Summary: 5 Stars
This is the first novel by this author that I have read, so I didn't come to it with any preconceived notions of his writing style or types of stories. I just began to read and let the action of the plot carry me along as if I were on a roller coaster. This book I found to be a real "page turner", one that I wanted to keep on reading long after I should have been asleep. There are red herrings enough to fill a large fish tank, and the plot line just twists and turtns every which way. The ending brings two different shocks, for neither of which I was prepared. If this author's other books are like this one, I will definitely search them out and read them avidly.
Book Review: camp fire story ?? THUMBS DOWN !!!!! Summary: 1 Stars
I wish I had done some real research on this author & this book before I spent my money & much less my time....childish, unbeleivable, 'throw it against the wall & see what sticks'...I felt like the author was intentionally insulting the reader's intelligence, laughing @ the thought of his 'audience' actually reading this garbage, like he was bound by whatever literary committment to 'write' something to meet an obligation.....THUMBS DOWN on this particular 'body-of-work', 'don't quit your day job' ETC Review: it ain't good Summary: 1 Stars
this is my first dekker novel. A friend recommended it. It really sucks. Clumsy, peurile, cliched and hokey.
Book Review: uggg...ridiculous Summary: 2 Stars
I'll keep this short and simple: This is the first (and probably last) Ted Dekker novel I've read. The book is horrible: the plot is ridiculous (and extremely implausible in the end), the characters are flat, and the narrative is amateurish...Anyone who gave this book 4 or 5 stars either didn't read the novel or will give 5 stars to a phone book.
