Book Review: 'Skinny Bastard' nothing more than a re-packaged 'Skinny Bitchy'

When I saw that there was a male-version of 'Skinny Bitch' coming out, I was excited. I read 'Skinny Bitch' and, despite much of the criticism, found it to be one of those life-changing books. It convinced me that going vegetarian was the way to go and that trying to be vegan was also a worthwhile venture. By reading 'Skinny Bitch' and following some of the advice it contained, I managed to lose a good 40 or 50 pounds, with the help of exercise in addition to the nutrition tips.
Now, 'Skinny Bastard'. Here's my advice; if you're a guy and you were too embarrassed to be seen toting around and flipping through 'Skinny Bitch', this is your book. If you read 'Skinny Bitch', don't expect to get much more out of this book. Wisely, I read through some of the chapters and flipped through the book at a local bookstore and was astonished to find that someone had the audacity to pretty much take 'Skinny Bitch', pack in a few more pages, change the packaging, make it 'speak' more to men and call it a new book. This is a blatant rip-off of one book pretty much attempting to spawn a franchise.
In summary, good material, but read 'Skinny Bitch' or 'Skinny Bastard', not both. 'Skinny Bastard' is for men and looks like it may have a few additional tid-bits that its female equivalent doesn't. Otherwise, don't waste your time and money on a book you've probably already have read if you've read or own 'Skinny Bitch.'
