Book Review: "cutest book ever??" I think not!!

Someone below stated that this was the cutest book ever? Wow, you can really tell that this person doesn't get out and read much! The person also states that it's not about stereotypes but about imagination. So, I guess I am imagining that it is offensive to the Latino culture by cutting up out language (Add an "o" and instant Spanish!), the afternoon siesta is still popular, and we all love "holy frijoles"! But as this person stated I guess I should get thicker skin and relax. The fun in life is insulting people; make fun of ourselves and others! What a wonderful message to relay to our children. It is very sad when we find entertainment in something that offends another's culture or beliefs.
This picture book is stereotypical and insulting to anyone with any respect for others. Do not waste your time in reading this trash. I also agree with another reviewer, this book deserves negative stars. There are so many other picture books that we could read to our children that convey positive messages and are much more "fun to read" than this author's attempt at multiculturalism.

It has been so very difficult to find a series of books for my little one, that is until I came across this goofy siamese kitten and his broad imagination. She will not put the book down and when she does it is because she is asleep! I read the book to her everynight and the promise of such gets her jumping to brush her teeth and ready herself for bed. This loco kitten has captured the hearts of whole family and now getting her another book is easier for me!Book Review: A second grader review.
