Book Review: Holy Frijoles! What an adventure!

While previewing our libraries newest books, the cover illustration grabbed my attention immediately. Once I opened the book, there was no turning back. Witty, funny, tongue twisting, and wonderfully illustrated, you just can't help but fall in love with Skippyjon Jones. I do not speak Spanish, but with the help of some Spanish speaking friends, I hope I can do the story justice when I attempt to read it aloud to our students. What a delightful story!Book Review: Holy Guacamole! Our hero is Skippito!

My 4-year old daughter, husband & I absolutely love this book! It's one I never get tired of reading! It is so funny, and the illustrations are terrific. One of the cutest books ever!!! Wonderful for the imagination. I highly recommend this book! My daughter gets so excited she can hardly wait for her bedtime story.Book Review: Hurray for Skippyjon Jones!

I love how silly these books are, and how imaginative Skippyjon Jones is. I also love how it changes from rhyme, to song, to no particular pattern at all, and back again! This book is so much fun to read aloud to kids!Book Review: Hysterical

I found this book to be so much fun to read out loud that I bought one for each set of grandchildren. Definitely a read aloud book.
