Book Review: Short stories, some good, some bad....

Gaiman is, of course, more widely known for his comic (sorry, Graphic Novel)writing than his prose but there is plenty here to attract both Sandman fans and those who are keen on the Sci fi / fantasy genre. It's a mixed collection, there are some genuinely frightening stories with strikingly original plot lines, but also some seriously dodgy poetry. It's fun to try and spot which stories are largely autobiographical (is that Jonathan Ross and his wife in one of them?)and the lengthy introduction is worth the price of the book in itself. Worth buying, for fans and those keen to read an original writer at work.
