Book Review: And Another Book Read Reviews
Summary: 5 Stars

Alex Rider literally falls from the sky when he is asked to participate in yet another mission. This time he's working for ASIS - the Australian Secret Intelligence Service. His job is to infiltrate a snakehead, a dangerous gang, in Indonesia and find out how they smuggle refugees. At first Alex refuses, he wants to go back to being a normal kid, but then the ASIS bribes him. They tell him that the agent accompanying him is his godfather Ash. This lures Alex into joining the mission because he thinks Ash will give him information about his parents. Alex reluctantly agrees to the mission and is soon transformed into an Afghan named Abdul. Things start going downhill from there. Major Yu, the leader of the Snakehead and a member of the dreaded Scorpia, knows that Alex is a spy. He doesn't kill Alex right away because he knows that he could be useful to him, so instead he puts Alex through many trials. On his last day before he is supposed to be transferred down the pipeline as an Afghan refugee he meets an undercover M16 agent and is brought to M16 headquarters where he is greeted by the familiar face of Mrs. Jones. He is informed that Scorpia has stolen Britain's newest bomb-The Royal Blue. M16 knows that Major Yu had something to do with it and they want Alex's help to recover it. Now it seems that Alex is working for two special intelligence agencies. The plot thickens as the story moves on and Alex finds out dark secrets about his parents and about Ash that will change his life forever.

Wow! This was the best Alex Rider book yet. It was jam packed with action, suspense and adventure. A really interesting fact about the book is Anthony Horowitz took a lot of time and researched so many topics that are talked about in the book. For example, he talked with a man from NASA about how one would reenter the atmosphere. This helped him accurately describe the whole first chapter of the book and made me like the book even more. Snakehead will keep you turning the pages one after another, desperate to hear what Alex is up to next. As always the book ends hanging you in mid air wondering if the end of being a spy for Alex has really come or if he has one more mission left in him. Anyone looking for a great adventure book, pickup Snakehead (or the first book in the Alex Rider series, Stormbreaker) and cuddle down into a chair and read it! Trust me you won't be able to put it down.

Book Review: Another great Alex Rider story
Summary: 5 Stars

I was very pleased to select this book, another one in the fictional Alex Rider series. It is thrilling, enveloping and was hard to put down once I started. Definitely would recommend for fans of Alex Rider.

Book Review: Another in the Alex Rider series.
Summary: 5 Stars

Have you ever imagined you can work as a spy? Well that's exactly what Alex Rider a 14-year-old boy gets to do. In Snakehead Alex Rider goes on a mission to save the world once again. While on this mission he meets someone who unlocks the secrets about Alex's parents that he's only speculated about before. In the beginning, you find Alex floating in the middle of the ocean off the Australian coast. After being rescued he learns that he has a godfather named Ash who Alex would be working with if he chooses to accept his mission. The whole mission is to infiltrate Scorpias' new project with another organization called Snakehead and stop their plan once again.

Snakehead is an action packed book that will keep you wanting to know more. Snakehead is just an amazing book that I didn't even want to put down. I think that this book is the best of the Alex Rider series so far. Anthony Horowitz does a good job of explaining every scene and move that Alex makes; it made me feel like I was actually there.

I recommend this amazing book to both guys and girls who like action and adventure.

Snakehead is only one book of the Alex Rider series. I would suggest that you read the rest of the series first otherwise; you may not understand all that is going on. Snakehead is the latest in the series, but Horowitz has released titles for three more books in the series. These are Crocodile tears, Yassen, and Endurance Point (3rd is a working title). This is the best book I ever read and hope you enjoy it too.

Book Review: Critical Review
Summary: 4 Stars

I think that this is a very good book. Every book from this author has been excellent, and I expected nothing less from this piece of work. I was not disappointed. Every part of this book, from start to finish, is realistic and researched. I hope other people can appreciate the amount of work that the author put into it.

This book is appropriate for any person ages 11 and up, because there is some scary situations. Also, there are references to alcohol. There is also a fight scene, and people are shot and killed. I wouldn't recommend this book to very young readers for these reasons. But overall, this book is appropriate for teenagers.

This book is realistic and has just the right mixture of suspense, action, and adventure. Hopefully, Anthony Horowitz will be writing more Alex Rider books as good as this one. I expect nothing less from this author of this great series.

If you haven't bought this book, hopefully this review should tell you if it would be a good book for you. If you've already bought this book, this should give you another perspective on the book. I hope you enjoyed this book as much as I did.

Book Review: Insane Book
Summary: 5 Stars

Snakehead goes deeper in this book than any other previous book in it's series. Previously, Alex has had to battle the usual cast list of crazed billionaires. However, the trade in human body parts that lies at the heart of the story is real, and extends to children. One of my favorite lines that was so powerful was "You're going to have a lot of surgery, Alex. There are some bad days ahead. But you'll come through... I know you will. We'll help you to the finishing line," Aussie doctor Tanner told him. As a piece of dramatic writing on this subject, I found it far more impressive than any of the other books in the series.
