Book Review: Good but could be much, much better
Summary: 4 Stars
Not really a 'Swiss army knife' reference book for graphic design software.
It's good - it covers the basics in a clear way with lots of examples and photographs (this version also comes with a CD-rom).
But for someone who has already taken introductory software courses, it merely becomes a recap guide. Which isn't a bad thing - you always need to refresh your skills (especially if you don't take notes - or you take dreadfully disorganised notes).
What left me disappointed was the fact that certain 'essentials' that I was interested in were not covered.
I have yet to discover the perfect 'all-in-one' graphic design software book...if it exists.
