Book Review: Great Book!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Can a friendship help teens get through the hardest times of their lives? Someone Like You by Sarah Desson shows how a friendship can pull a teen through tough times. Scarlett and Halley became best friends at a young age. They helped each other for the hardest part of their lives. Scarlett's boyfriend, Michael, had an accident and dies. Later, Scarlett finds out she's pregnant with his baby. Halley meets a boy and starts to have a serious relationship with him, even though he is not good for her. Someone Like You holds the readers attention all the way through the story. Sarah Desson's writing style creates a very realistic setting. The characters she used also made the story very entertaining and dramatic. This book tells the trials that teenagers go through in high school. This is a very good book to read for anyone who attends high school. It tells very true situation of teenage pregnancy and friendships. Reading this book can show teenagers the drama behind a teenage pregnancy and about the people who really are there to help, like your best friends. "Life is an ugly awful place not to have a best friend."

Book Review: I found a new YA author that I love!
Summary: 4 Stars

This is the first of Sarah Dessen's that I've read, and I'll definitely be reading more of her books in the future. I REALLY liked the style of the book, the way she wrote these characters, and the story here. I mean, this woman knows how to write teens in a way that many authors do not. Every word was just so completely real. It hasn't been too long since my teen years (I'm 24) and I can easily imagine how my friends and I would have felt and behaved in a situation similar to the one in the book, and what I imagine is pretty darn close to the way Halley and Scarlett were. I'm not going to lie to you people - the ending to this one totally made me cry. I have a love/hate relationship with books making me cry - on the one hand, it means that I got emotionally involved and really felt for the characters, which means it was probably a really good book; on the other hand, I don't much enjoy crying, especially if it's about something sad. I'm not going to spoil the ending, but let's just say that in this case, it was a worthy cry, and not one I felt resentment about. Go read this book, especially if you are a YA fan - it's a very good one.

Book Review: L-O-V-E
Summary: 5 Stars

Just one more book that I've added to my "Favorite Book Ever" list!
I did cry at the end, as I usually do with any good book. =]

Book Review: Loved It.
Summary: 5 Stars

"Life is and awful place to not have a best friend."

I Believe that is the quote stated on the back cover of the book, and I highly agree. Someone Like You shows what friendship really is, and sticking through the hard times. It shows when you feel like the weak friend, you turn out to be the strongest one. Scarlett goes thru a rough time by sleeping with a boy that she loved, and the next morning he died. Halley helps her thru her choices and learns some new things herself, but in the process she finds herself terribly hurt, by her pressuring boyfriend, Macon. I highly recommend this book. It maybe inappropriate for younger kids though, it all depends on what you call inappropriate.

Book Review: Loved it
Summary: 5 Stars

I was so sad when this book ended, because we didn't learn what became of Halley, Scarlette, and Grace! It was very heartwarming and an interesting read. It also took some unexpected turns.
