Book Review: A lovely editon of Speed Racer

What you have here is a 2 volume hardback edition of the complete Speed Racer Mach Go Go Go. Volume 1 contains 4 stories: The Great Plan, Challenge of the Masked Racer, Race for Revenge, and the Fire Race. It runs to 294 pages and reads from back to front. The first few pages of book 1 are glossy colour and then the rest of the book is in black and white.
Volume 2 contains 6 stories: The True Spirit of a Racer, The Desperate Desert Race, The Secret Engine, The Secret of the Golden Arrow, The Black Test Car, and Race to Fire Island. The first couple of pages of Volume 2 are glossy colour and the rest is black and white. Volume 2 runs to 326 pages and also reads from back to front. Both volumes are contained in a sturdy slipcover.
There's not much to say about the actual stories, you either like Speed Racer or you don't, so I'll just say that this is a quality edition that's well priced and well worth owning if you're a fan.
