"Spirit Horses" is breathtaking in it's ability to provide the reader with a felt sense experience of the essence, "the spirit" of each of the horses featured in the book. I have always loved horses and since childhood I have sought out books that capture their true essence and show the many facets of these beautiful, powerful, dynamic beings! "Spirit Horses" does this for me! The outstanding photography provides a way to experience these horses in precious moments revealing the unique qualities and depth of expression of each of the horses. I find this book to be one that I enjoy and benefit from again and again, as each time I look at the pictures, different elements speak to me. The photographs of the horses are so deeply moving to me and so well done, that I feel as if I am connecting to the horses individually and something inside of me opens up. It is an honor to have this experience.Book Review: Equine photography at it's best !!!

I am a photographer, so I read Tony Stromberg's book from a photographer's point of view. This book is an awesome blend of light, line and motion. I don't think I've ever seen such stunning equine photography captured as beautifully as Tony Stromberg's in his "Spirit Horses" book. Only a true artist, with a genuine love of horses, would be able to capture the grace and essence of these beautiful animals in the creative way that Tony Stromberg has. Incredible photography! Don't miss seeing this book.
