To open Tony Stromberg's first book will be to open the portal to a dream that will take root in your soul.
In this dream, your spirit is moving effortlessly across grass-kissed hills, speeding across plains at light speed, releasing pungent scent as you joyfully leap sweet-smelling brush, and stopping suddenly with dust rising around you to gaze into the last moments of sunset. I have been reading every horse book I could get my hands on since I was a little girl - this is the most beautiful, heart rending, eloquently written and photographed horse book I have ever seen! It made me cry from the first time I opened it! It is a claasy classy gift for anyone who loves any kind of animals, but for the equine set - it is the most perfect thing you could ever wrap and put under the Christmas tree ( or Hannukah bush - or it's equivelant.) Tony Stromberg has an amazing eye and spiritual connection to horses that springs off the page from his breathtakingly beautiful photographs of horses in the wild - natural, strong, proud, and magnificent!
I LOVE IT !!!!!
