While there are a lot of romantic horse picture books available, Tony has collected many images in this book which transcend the expected and lead us into the essence of equine. The textures and composition amaze... From the dust, to the lips, to the eyes, to the hair, these images can take the viewer deep. I am not a "horse person" per se, but the artistry and beauty in this book is so very rich that it surpasses that perspective. Along with the sheer beauty, there is humor and irony, strength and flow, and much more. I am very pleased with this book and hope to own a large size print from Tony's portfolio someday.Book Review: Wild and Spirited
