Book Review: FInally, a book on photography which is just right!

As an amateur photographer who's not quite a complete beginner, I was looking for something that deals beyond the bare basics of photography, yet not too technical to render my purchase useless. This book completely fits the bill. It helps guide the reader while opening up the mind to the opportunities, constraints, issues and types of photography. The description on the book says it's a book on travel photography, but it's more than that. There's sections on portraits, landscape, festivals, the works. It also opens up the reader to the life of a photographer, the sensitivities involved and how to handle precarious situations and turn them into photo opportunities!It's an easy to read book, written with wit and intelligence, and definitely worth every penny I spent on it. There's also an aura of friendliness about the book that's very catchy and appealing. Oh yes, and did I mention the beautiful photos?
