My 2 year old can't get enough of this book. We have continually checked this book out of our library...every night he'd ask us to read it. This book has a great story and vivid illustrations. Can't live with out it!Book Review: Jeff Mack Rocks!

The illustrations in this book are friendly and enchanting. They're filled with a sly bit of humor as well, which I find refreshing. And the kids are enchanted by the wild surroundings. I would love to see what Jeff could do with a children's book if he were the author as well!Book Review: One of my son's favorite books

Starry Safari is simply a gorgeous book for children 2 years and up. My 3 year old absolutely adores it, to the point where we read it together at least once a day, sometimes more. The illustrations are colorful, beautiful and often funny, with the animal from the prior page peeking out in a corner of the next page for your child to discover. There's a little story about a kid who goes on a safari and meets all kinds of animals, and by the end your child will see that it was all imagination and all the safari animals were actually little stuffed animals in the kid's bed, and the "big safari ranger" is daddy tucking the kid in. There's a page where you "listen to the noisy night" and can act out all the animal sounds, and a page where you can roar together at the lion. There's no other book I've read as often with my 3 year old son as this one, and we still look forward to it every day. I can't recommend this book enough - do yourself and your child(ren) a favor and order one!Book Review: Starry Safari is a hit!

My one-and-a-half year old twin girls LOVE this story. We read a lot of books, but they have come to request this one in particular over and over. I hear them trying to say little phrases from the book throughout the day. Very well written, fun to read, and good for learning animal names. I think the rhythm of this story will captivate kids of all ages.Book Review: This book is great for all kids and ages

My 2 1/2 year old LOVES this book! He likes to say the last word in each rhyme and loves to see all the animals. It's a great book for both boys and girls. Especially for kids that like animals! The best is the twist at the end. My son loves going back to match the stuffed animals in the little girl's bed at the end with the animals throughout the book that she saw on her safari.
