Book Review: A Must-Read For Any Running Fan

In his unique authoring of an American icon's life, Golden Krishna created a work of art that any running enthusiast would admire. He writes from the perspective of Bill Bowerman, legendary coach of the University of Oregon, while telling the tale of Steve Prefontaine's growth from a schoolboy to college stud to world-class competitor, and everything in between. What's more, Golden accompanies the story with pages full of mesmerizing designs, images, and symbols. In many ways, this is more of an art book than a piece of literature, but the combination of both elements makes this a book that's not to miss. As a runner myself, I would not leave this book out of my collection of running literature.
