I think that Stone Fox is a wonderful book. When we were reading this book in my class, I didn't want to stop. If I don't understand a part, I can keep reading until it makes sense. I think that Willie is a very kind boy because he wants to take care of his grandfather. He wants to make money on his potato farm so that he can pay the tax collector. The reason I like this book is because I like animals and I love traveling. I thought that Little Willy would win the race with no problem, but he did have one little problem. You'll have to read the book to find out what it was. I thought this book should be rated 50 million stars because it has a lot of adventure in it. It was exciting and it made me want to keep on reading. I recommend this book to people who like dogs and bobsledding.Book Review: A tear jerker!

Very few children's books that are written at this level have a high enough interest to hold the students imagination. This book does an excellent job. It has a simple plot that climaxes with a tear-jerking ending. Worth a read, or two!
