Book Review: Bad Book ... Summary: 1 Stars
. The book I read was Stone Fox by John Reynolds Gardiner. I didn't really like the book because there was no action in it. My favorite character was Stone Fox. I liked him because he was evil. The main idea was about this guy and his grandson who lived on a farm. The boys grandfather almost dies. But Willy saves him. I would not recommend this book for anyone.
Book Review: Beautiful but bittersweet story Summary: 5 Stars
This is a wonderful story about a young boy, his faithful dog, and his quest to obtain $500 to save his grandfather's farm from foreclosure. A word of warning: DON'T read this to children without knowing that the ending is very sad and will make anyone, even adults, cry and weep. This is not a book to read to children if you have not read it and are not prepared to help them deal with the ending. Dog lovers will take it especially hard.
