Book Reviews of Stone Fox

Book Review: Best Book
Summary: 5 Stars

This book was great! What happened in this book is this; Willy, a ten year old boy was taking care of his sick grandfather. Willy entered a dogsled race for adults. Everyone thought he was crazy, except Doc.Smith. "She said, I'll be rooting for you."But even she knew he was racing against Stone fox, the unbeatable man.Find out who wins the race!

Book Review: Best Book
Summary: 3 Stars

The book Stone Fox, by John Reynolds Gardiner, is a good book. It is about a kid who goes in race with a champion sleigh racer. He tries to earn 500 dollars. In the race you can have as many dogs as you want, but Willie only has one dog. His dog, Searchlight, is brave and strong. I don't want to give the ending away, so I will recommend this book for people who like action books.

Book Review: Best Book I Read This Year
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been teaching in Singapore for four years and this is by far the best book I've read with my students. The author writes cleary and doesn not bore you with unnecessary details. Throughout the whole book, our class was wondering how it would end. The ending is shocking and one of the few times I've put a book down and thought, "Wow...that was great!"

Book Review: Best Story Ever!
Summary: 5 Stars

I am 8 years old and this is the best story ever! A 10 year old kid taking care of his Grandfather in being brave to have only one dog in a dog sled race. Wow! Stone Fox should be the title because he was the only one who let Little Willie win. That's hard being the only responsible and brave one when you are only 10 years old. I loved this story so much!

Book Review: Best book ever
Summary: 5 Stars

I liked Stone fox because it is full of animals and mysteries to solve but it has a sad ending. It's also full of lifeskills such as caring, responsibility, and integrety also where it's up to Willy to save the farm. Do you think Willy will be able to save the farm? You will have to read the book to find out.
