Book Review: Whine and crackers ( or should I say boinkers )

The basic problem with this installment of the Watcher Series is simply that...the female protagonist won't stop whining throughout the entire book. She is illogical annoying and almost retarded in her constant weaknesses and complaints. She simply won't stop and the Watcher assigned to her well...instead of helping her by slapping her out of it or forcing some sense into her or even abandoning the pathetic thing to her destiny...falls in love with her. Chanting her name Mari Mari Mari like a mantra gone bad page after page, he is like a whipped man whose IQ has dropped 40 points just by coming into contact with *his* witch. He is undeserving of loving her pfft. Dude get out while you can, find yourself a nice, good and mentally healthy girl and start having some self esteem.In the end you get the feeling they deserve each other. Who in their right mind would go oh-woe-is-me when a tall, handsome, devoted, strong stranger stays around sleeping in a dump protecting them night after night from both physic and psychic evils? Oh but our whiny female lead is SO scared and SO indecisive and SO unsure of herself SO guilt ridden ( repeat ad nauseum ). By the end of the book you want to lock them both up in a bank vault and forget they exist. I hope the mantra Mari Mari Mari will not stick with me.
