Book Review: A well balanced Introduction to Islam

Don't be put by the title. Rather than being an enigmatic story of personal enlightenment that can either be interpreted as genuine or the elusions of a madman Dr. Lang provides a well-grounded perspective of Islam to the Western World. By no means can one describe this honest and sincere book as definitive in the study of the Islam. However compared to many of the corruptive influence based on Medieval Literature which flagrantly abuses the truth of Islam, Struggling to Surrender can help to bridge the gap between East and West. In this day and age we should learn from the mistakes of the past, travel beyond our fears and use the greatest gift from God, Wisdom. I recommend this book not only to people of other faiths but to those of the Islamic faith, bee they born in the West or East. I hope that this will encourage people to read more and wider references on faith. Try to struggle to find the Truth in Allah's Words. As Dr. Lang quotes Jihad is the struggle in faith. To follow the path of God rather than Man.
