Book Reviews of Super Baby Food

Book Review: A must-have book for every parent
Summary: 5 Stars

I definitely am grateful for this book to be written. I don't know how to cook but this book makes it SO EASY and I love how there are specific guidelines for each stage for feeding your baby. I thought it was just on feeding your baby, but it has much more interesting and very USEFUL information. I will definitely give this book as a gift to all my friends who are new moms. Your baby will thank-you for taking the time to make him/her healthy delicious baby food that costs less than the commercial baby jars at the supermarket. It's not hard at all to do. This book is like the bible on feeding my precious baby.

Book Review: A must-have book for feeding your baby
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is for every parent who wondered "What (and how) do I feed my baby". Specific foods are listed with cooking instructions, nutritional value, and storing & freezing tips. Feeding instructions are also broken down into months of your baby's life with which foods can safely be introduced. The book is packed with useful information such as how to make flour more healthy and how to make "super porridge". Recipes for healthy toddler snacks and meals are also included. I find myself constantly using this section as my kids get older and I'm searching for new recipes. Ruth Yaron also goes beyond food and gives helpful, useful hints on everything from how to make your own dishwashing detergent to how to do arts and crafts with your children. As my children get older, I'm using this wonderful book more. My only criticism is that I tend to feel a bit inadequate reading it...Ruth even makes her own yogurt from live active cultures! This book is truly necessary for anyone wanting to do the right thing for their kids.

Book Review: A parenting must-have
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the second time I bought this book. I bought it when my first daughter was a baby (she's now five). I must have lent it out to someone, but it was such a great reference that I bought it again for our second daughter who is just starting to eat solid food. I love the month-by-month ideas for what to introduce and there is just a ton of other useful info about what, how, and when to feed your baby. And if you don't want to pay for commerical baby food, there are great ideas and tips for making your own baby food.

Book Review: A perfect book to help start your little one on solids
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is excellent. Starting a tot on solids can be overwhelming, but this book really clears up questions and doubts. It has a wonderful break down of what to start when, schedules for feeding, and great recipes. This is the book any health conscious parent needs. It even has great recipes for homemade baby wipes and other necessities. When it's time to start feeding your baby something besides breastmilk or formula, this book will help you know whether to give him/her bananas or broccoli! All parents need this book!

Book Review: A perfect way to save money and keep your child healthy
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this book 2 years ago for my first child. As a first time stay at home mom I needed referance material that would give me a list of foods to feed my child and at what age,I also wanted a referance on how to save money by preparing it myself. It was very important to me to find a way that would give my child the least amount of sugar and preservatives like in pre made baby food, and the most vitamins and minerals. So when I found Ruth Yarons book I was so excited because there were no other books that gave you step by step instructions. Now my Daughter is very healthy and only had 2 colds in her first 2 years of life. I directly attribute it to breast feeding as well as feeding her healthy foods prepared with love. I am not a vegitarian so I listened to my doctor about when to start meat and I converted the program to fit my childs needs. It was a great basis to guide me in my first experience with an infant. With any thing you have to come up with your own decisions especially when It comes to your prescious children. This book not only was a wonderful guide but it helped save us a lot of money and I knew exactly what my child was eating.
