This book is a must have for any first time mom. I found all the information and timetables so helpful. I had no idea what to do when my son started on solid food and unless my friend had loaned me this book I would have just bought baby food, but making your own is so easy and so much less expensive! I felt better for my son's nutrition as well, knowing exactly what he was getting and when he should get it.Book Review: A Must Have

This book is a must have for all mothers who choose to follow a healthly lifestyle for their family. It is easy to understand and follow. I especially like the month-by-month food introduction schedule. It's nice to know there are options for feeding your child beyond all the commercially prepared cereals. Out of all the books geared towards babies I've bought and received, this one is the best. It's simple and fun to read and answered so many questions I had about how best to feed my daughter a complete vegetarian diet. My super baby is nine months old now and she positively glows. I heard about this book on a baby food club that I am a memberof on the internet. I went to the site, liked it, and purchased thebook. It was a great decision. The book has wonderful recipes,ideas, recipes for household cleaners, etc. This book shows you that it is not hard to prepare your baby foods yourself. It is very informative. I feel that any mother who wants the best for her baby should get this book. This book would be a great gift for new parents as well. This book contains tons of helpful and informative info on feeding solids to your baby. I have just started my little girl on solids and she is loving it! On my lunch breaks mostly have I read this book. When I got it, I thought it would be impossible to read all of this, but it has turned out to be a very easy to read and thorough guide. I am not a picky eater and probably eat too much take out, but I do still believe that you are what you eat and it's very important to me to instil that into my daughter. So far she is loving her mashed avocados and sweet potatoes. I am very much forward to the day when she asks me for a before bedtime snack of grapes instead of american cheese and this book is one huge step in that direction!
