Book Reviews of Surrender

Book Review: Feral Glee
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm just aghast at how much I enjoyed it. I felt just as fearful and excited as the protagonist. Kaelen really stands above the other men in the group of five. Of course, I thought there'd be more than one man, FIVE set me on edge wondering if they'd all be equally interesting and which would be terribly cruel or sweet and loving. I had to force myself to put it down and get to work. *blush* Cameron and Kaelen are the most mature of the group and exist as lovely versions of the same sort of alpha's I adore. Zant really hit a home run

Book Review: First time reading Kimberly Zant...Quick Read.
Summary: 3 Stars

This is a short story about Anna, a recently divorced woman with 2 kids. Her ex-husband is trying to take her kids and she doesn't have the money to fight it so she takes a 6 week job as a submissive sex slave for a group of 5 rich men (Kaelen, Gareth, Cameron, Chance, and Dev. The plot takes a backseat to the sex. The main plot points are the custody battle, regret of leaving her kids for 6 weeks her kids, and the men. Mainly the author focuses on the sexual awakening of Anna - who discovers she likes kinky things. She finds herself attractive men and it doesn't hurt that they all are great, giving, lovers.

The character development was weak, and the ending seemed rushed. Also the courtship between the hero and heroine was unplausable, but altogether, it was a decent read with great sex scenes.

Book Review: For beginner readers.
Summary: 2 Stars

I am an avid reader and trade heavily on book swaps sites. I had been waiting for this book (based upon others' reviews) and am sad to say it was a total waste of time. The premise was ridiculous, the vocabulary was juvenile and the typface and paragraphing were akin to a primary reader! Needless to say, I don't recommend this book and I certainly won't hold my breath for another by this author.

Book Review: Good story but hard to follow
Summary: 3 Stars

This was a good premise for a story but the editing or the printing made it hard to read. The author could have fleshed out the story a little more than she did here. It was written in a first person type dialog. Other first person books that I have read have had more of a story line than I felt was here.

Book Review: Goodness!
Summary: 5 Stars

If this one does not get you hot and bothered, then hang it up. I got all flushed and I don't even like guys! There is not much of a logical story to this one but that really is not the point of this book. Take my advice, cruse through the story part and just hit the "good parts." I suspect this author has done this sort of thing before as she seems do to a pretty accurate job of her descriptions. I have to admit that I went through two sets of AAA batteries on this one. Five, count them, five guys. Goodness!
