Book Review: Excellent practical guide
Summary: 5 Stars
This book is highly recommended for persons actively engaged in designing practical switchmode supplies. Inductor and transformer design is particularly thoroughly covered and SI units are used for all calculations. The book is very readable, with detail math confined to appendices. Billings covers less material than Pressman ('Switching Power Supply Design'), but goes into more practical detail. These two books complement each other very well.
