Book Review: Give it a chance

This book is perhaps the most challenging book I have ever read. My ego has created many arguments against the book. I have seen my therapist who was able to talk me out of practicing for twelve hours a day or even two hours a day saying this is one man's opinion. My false self knew she would talk me out, which is obviously why I went to see her. My false self is not giving this a fair chance. I see the problem of ego distortion. I would tell anyone to get the book who is serious about ending the ego illusion and breaking the reincarnation cycle.Book Review: There is one way faster...

This is a good book. The author deconstructs the ego, the world of appearance, and attempts to point the reader towards his own awareness. Unfortunately, the author thinks that there is something called "enlightenment", some future state of eternal bliss that you can get to by giving up television and observing your awareness for 12 hours a day. This is a serious misunderstanding of everything. If the non-dual truth of reality is that you are only awareness, unchanging, unchangeable in your true nature, if there is no past, no future, NO SELF, then what is there to spend 12 hours a day on like it's some horrible job?
Nothing. No thing. You are what you seek, always already. Be aware of your awareness, rest in that. The promised eternal bliss is available NOW. Don't fall back into the trap of seeking some future state. Attaining enlightenment is a myth propagated by people trying to sell you something, there isn't any such thing to gain, you already are that.
So buy the book though, it has some really good ego deprogramming in it.

Book Review: Big things come in small packages

I'd say keep this book and burn the rest. Or at least box them up and store them inconveniently. This book really cuts to the chase. How bad do you want it? If you want it bad, then this is the stuff. Repetitive, slow and plodding yet a slow sure way to where you are and have always been. If you have an interest in liberation/enlightenment then this book will let you know if your desire is enough, if it isn't, it tells how to increase your desire. It will also call you out as an intellectual dabbler then one who wants freedom above all else. So this book may save you either way. Here to liberation. Or there to The Secret and make yourself rich. Fogetaboutit!Book Review: The book I've been waiting for!

WOW, This book and its message might be the book I have always been looking/waiting for! I am following its instructions and have a strong feeling that this is going to work for me.
