Book Review: Hot AND a story; what a concept!

Loved it. Definitely hot. The steamy sex scenes were exceedingly well-written. But there was a story here, too, and a good one. The story/world-building is what hooked me and is the reason I purchased the book, to be honest.
C'mon. Let's admit it. One can find books that cost far less and offer up an equivalent heaping helping of hot steamy sex. But THIS BOOK had that plus a well-written story and a quirky, fascintaing and unique world, as well.
The only reason this got 4 stars from me instead of 5 is because I'm not a big fan of novellas. I like novel-length books, and this book is composed of two novellas. I knew it going in, of course, but that doesn't necessarily mean I was ready for the stories to end when they did.
Good book. Excellent world-building. Wildly hot sex. Fascinating characters. Wonderful endings.
