Book Reviews of Taking Charge of Your Fertility, 10th Anniversary Edition: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control, Pregnancy Achievement, and Reproductive HealthBook Review: A Must-Have Book Summary: 5 StarsAs everyone else here is saying, this is a must-have book. It lives on my nightstand, and has opened so many doors for me. At 37, I never realized how amazing my body really is, and Toni has taught me things that even my physician husband was unaware of! We have been trying for six months to conceive, and will soon be starting fertility counseling--but without this book--we would have had to wait the customary one year to start our therapy! Ladies out there--do you know that you have fertility signs and conception signs that you can check for every day without spending one buck on ovulation kits or pregnancy tests? Cool huh? It's in this book!
Book Review: The best Summary: 5 StarsEverything I wish I had known before, but I'm glad it's not too late. A great birth control method for those mature enough to follow the rules. Lawrence Weschler -- your sister has done the world a great service.
Book Review: Thanks Toni! Summary: 5 StarsMy husband and I picked out TCOYF at our local bookstore and have read it from cover to cover. We have learned so much about my body, and our relationship is closer because we can share in charting my cycles. I was skeptical at first, but this month when I had eighteen consecutive high temps (a clear sign of pregnancy) I took a pregnancy test which came up positive! I ended up miscarrying, but without TCOYF I would have just thought my period was late. Now we know we are fertile and have a much better understanding of my body and that "normal" is a relative term!
Book Review: Warning-this book is VERY effective! Summary: 5 StarsI bought this book after trying to conceive for 2.5 years and got pregnant in the first month. Each of my friends who have bought the book have had the same experience. I would recommend this to everyone!
Book Review: A wondeful book about an important topic Summary: 5 StarsLike everyone before me, I would just say that I strongly recommend this book for any woman who wants to understand her body. I don't have an infertility problem (as far as I know I don't), but I sure was ignorant about how my body works. I am just starting to use fertility awareness for birth control, and feel as confident as when I was using the pill, thanks to the very clear instructions and explanations presented in this book. It's fun to read, and very informative.
