Book Reviews of Taking Charge of Your Fertility, 10th Anniversary Edition: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control, Pregnancy Achievement, and Reproductive HealthBook Review: Excellent book, no matter how much you knew, you learn more! Summary: 5 StarsThis book covers it all. I thought I knew enough about my body and NFP, this book taught me so much more. It is reassuring and easy to read. No confusing rules to learn, just common sense. I had read other NFP books and this one really made a difference, I actually discovered that my previous BBT charts were inaccurate! In two weeks, I learned more from this book than 5 months with other family planning and fertility books. Definite must have for those trying to acheive or avoid pregnancy.
Book Review: I didn't realise there was so much I didn't know! Summary: 4 StarsOverall this is the most informative book I have ever read on the subject of fertility. Easy to read, understand and put into practise... everything everyone should know in one book. BRILL !!
Book Review: I conceived my son within days of reading this book. Summary: 5 StarsI bought Taking Charge of Your Fertility on 5/6/96 and my last period started on 5/8/96. I found out I was pregnant early in June. Taking my temp wasn't helping me figure out when I ovulated. I learned from this book that there are other signs of ovulation and was able to use them in order to get pregnant. When I'm ready for another child I'll read this book again.
Book Review: Not as much as what I wanted Summary: 3 StarsIt has a lot of good information but nothing that I think you couldn't find on the 'net or just common knowledge. I have been trying to get pregnant for 18 months and I pretty much knew all that she went over in her book. I was disapointed but it would probably be a good book if you weren't sure about your ferility.
Book Review: A straightforward, wonderful take-charge guide for couples Summary: 5 StarsI have 20 years of experience in obstetrical nursing. I found Toni's book to be a treasure! Whether planning or avoiding pregnancy naturally, this book is for all women and their partners. My husband has just finished reading it and was surprised at how much he didn't now about women's reproductive health. I have already recommended it to several friends who are attempting to conceive.
