Book Review: A fit conclusion to the series... but I hope for a sequel

Anne Rice's *Taltos* was an enjoyable read, but did not have as much sustaining suspense as *The Witching Hour* and *Lasher*, the two novels which preceded it. Though I can easily be more sympathetic toward Ashlar than toward Lasher, the former is not as interesting a character as the latter. I appreciated the maturing of both Rowan and Michael as charcters in *Taltos*, and enjoyed the "fleshing out" (so to speak) of Mona's character in this third book. It is difficult to try to imagine any other ending for the Mayfair Witches saga, but this doesn't prevent me from wanting to read more about them!
