I use this book all of the time just to learn new stitch techniques. The pictures are great and easy to learn from, the explanations are very clear, and it is very easy to navigate. I originally bought this book for my daughter who has been teaching herself how to knit. But once I saw it, I was so excited about all the different patterns that I got back into knitting again after years of not having done it! The pictures and instructions are very clear - and there are LOTS of pictures. Lots of patterns I never knew existed and didn't even know you could do with knitting. I highly recommend this book!Book Review: Great for those who also have a teacher

This is a great book if you have someone else to ask questions. It's great for those who are visual learners and you'll definitely be able to complete more projects and learn more stitches. However, some of the images can be confusing, which is why it's good to have an expert you can speak to in order to clarify some of the illustrations.Book Review: Great knitting book for a beginner!

If you are a visual learner this is the book for you! The color photographs are clear, step-by-step instructions on how to do everything a novice knitter needs to know. This is also an excellent reference book in that it has examples of a wide variety of stitch patterns, techniques, etc. that you can grow into as your skills increase. I highly recommend this book!
