I have to admit, I'm not a fan of the whole memoir trend that has been sweeping the publishing industry for the past 5 or 6 years. I don't really care what someone in Minnesota on prozac with a lesbian mother has to say about the world (nothing against people on prozac, people from Minnesota, or people with lesbian mothers.) But this is a funny book. It's more of a hysterical social commentary from someone with something interesting to say about the world WE ALL live in, rather than the world HE lives in.
