Book Reviews of Ten Little LadybugsBook Review: O.k. book Summary: 3 StarsThis book is great for kids. But as an adult I have the ability to compare it with other books like this. For example "10 little Butterflies". 10 Little Butterflies is much better. The rhymes in "Ladybugs" are stunted, lacking rhythm frequently. But then again, my kid can't read. Illustrations are good and my kid likes to play with the little bugs and holes in pages.
Buy it, it's fine for your child. But you, me and Melanie Gerth know she didn't bring her "A" game to this one....
Book Review: Fun and educational! Summary: 4 StarsMy daughter loves the sing song patter I can achieve with the rhyme of this book. She also loves ladybugs, so this was a no-brainer. When I first read this, I was a bit anxious as to just where exactly all the little ladybugs were going to. But fear not, it all ends well.
Book Review: Best of the bunch Summary: 5 StarsMy son has loved this book since he was about 9 months. He shows sustained interest even without biting the edges like he does on other books. Don't ask me why.
Book Review: PERFECT BOOK Summary: 5 StarsThis is my son's favorite book out of many, many books! It has been for the last 10 months (he is only 13 months old presently). He loves the deep colors of the pages & pushing and feeling the ladybugs. I even got him another similar book (spiders instead of ladybugs) but he isn't very in to it, he still reaches for his ladybug book on his book shelf. I am buying it for friends who are pregnant because I am so confident it will be well received.
