Book Reviews of Ten Little LadybugsBook Review: Excellent book! Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter, who just turned 2, kept asking me for a ladybug book. I couldn't find one in any of our local bookstores so I ordered this one from Amazon. Right when I took it out of the box, she grabbed it away from me, so excited! We read it several times a day. She's already memorized many of the pages!
Book Review: Fantastic and Delightful Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter has loved this book since she was 4 months old. Everytime we read it together, she tries to "pick off" the ladybugs from the page. the story is sweet and introduces other animals and has beautiful illustrations. If I need to get her attention, all I need to do is pick up the book and begin reading it. She stops what she's doing and crawls over ASAP. I highly recommend this. We also have 8 Silly Monkeys which is cute as well.
Book Review: Fantastic book Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter has had this book for about 6 months and still loves it. The more she understands numbers (she's only 20 months), the more she appreciates it. Started out enjoying the rhyming and the animals and touching the round bugs. Now she's "getting" the idea of the numbers. Super great book.
Book Review: For all you ladybug fans! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this book for the little girl we are going to be adopting from China. For those in the Chinese adoption community who collect anything with ladybugs, this is an adorable book. The illustrations are bright and captivating and the story, particularly the ending, is especially appropriate for all of us who wait for the day we can bring our own little "ladybug" home. I can't wait to share it with her. In the meantime, I pull it off the shelf from time to time and it cheers me up on those days I don't know how I can handle the wait.
Book Review: Fun and educational! Summary: 4 Stars
My daughter loves the sing song patter I can achieve with the rhyme of this book. She also loves ladybugs, so this was a no-brainer. When I first read this, I was a bit anxious as to just where exactly all the little ladybugs were going to. But fear not, it all ends well.
