Book Reviews of Ten Little LadybugsBook Review: A favorite or all- babies, toddlers AND parents! Summary: 5 StarsI got this book or my son at 6 months old and it immediately became his favorite. Now at 11 months old, he'll pull it out of the pile first to read at bedtime. And I gave a copy to my neices and nephews of ages 2-4 years and they all love it.
Most importantly, after the tons of times I've had to read to my children..I still enjoy it.
My son LOVES to play with the ladybugs but there is no sign of them coming off. It is a very well built sturdy book that is sure to be enjoyed by every age!
Book Review: BEAUTIFULLY ILLUSTRATED and CLEVERLY WRITTEN ... Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter and I like to read this book at bedtime. It's not too long but not too short either. The illustrations are beautiful and we know and love all the words. Just an added bonus - it also has helped us to learn counting down from 10 :)
I recommend this book to all mom's who love to read to their kids but don't want to spend the entire night at it.
Book Review: Fun to read Summary: 5 StarsMy son loves this book- he flips through the pages and points out the animals. It's his second- he flipped through his first book so many times that it tore it apart!
Book Review: Two children, and still going strong! Summary: 5 StarsMy father sent this book to my older son when he was a baby, and he loved it right away. He learned the names of the animal or insect on each page, it was great when he was learning colors to ask where the red/yello/orange ladybug was, and he liked having some thing to touch as we counted the ladybugs left or sang the song. Now we are on son #2, and he loves it even more! We even have a tradition from the book: When we pull into our driveway, I sing "...And then we were..." and my boys sing "HOME!" which is how the book ends. Perfect book for a gift or your permanent collection!
Book Review: cute but overrated, overpriced and contains very little substance Summary: 2 StarsI bought this flashy book from reading from all these rave reviews. The cute and flashy book could only keep my fifteen months old interested for barely ten minutes. There isn't much to read except sensing little lady bugs. My daughter prefers reading Sandra Boyton's books. I will return this book.
