Book Review: A wonderful book, chronicling a surfing and life odyssey

Fiona Capp's journey through rediscovering surfing is a joy to read. The descriptions of her first efforts, the nervous anticipation, fear and growing confidence are all wonderfully depicted.
Based around the surfing coastlines near Melbourne, Capp visits various breaks, learning about their moods and her abilities. During her personal odyssey, which takes the author to Europe and Hawaii, Capp interweaves stories from the history of surfing, mythology and the ocean.
The greatest joy in the book, however, is Capp capturing in words 'That Oceanic Feeling'. A much loved book, which I bought and recommended to surfin and non-surfing friends.
